Minami Aizu Inspires Our
Brews
 Minami Aizu is located in the far southwest of
Fukushima Prefecture bordered by Niigata on the west,
Gunma on the south, and Tochigi on the east. Minami Aizu
Brewery is located in Tadami on national highway 289
about 3km East from the Tadami JR Station. We were
attracted to the area for its natural rustic beauty, its
mountains (Hiuchi, Aizu Komagatake, Asakusa, Aizu Asahi),
its rivers (Ina and Tadami), its fields of green rice
sprouts in the summer, its kaleidoscopic leaves in the
autumn, its deep powder snow in the winter, and its
willowing cherry blossoms in the spring. The people of
Aizu are patient, hard-working people who maintain
traditions that have been tempered over the ages. This is
a perfect setting for our brewing philosophy and our
brewery.
